Josh & Aaron Do Improv Brooklyn Concert reviews
Fleet Foxes, United Palace
- These gentlemen have a simple set up and simple gimmick, but they are majestic and need to be heard. The band standing on stage alone with their instruments is all that is needed to really be blown away by the music they create.
- Vocal harmonies were on point, and there was a great mix of old and new stuff. Their sound and presence was perfect for the old church turned concert venue, and I imagine these gentlemen will only get bigger and bigger with time.
- 'Montezuma," 'Mykonos," "Oliver James" were highlights of the show. This was the first show I have been to in a while where the audience was seated for the entire show, and rightfully so. Concert goers would have been knocked off their feet anyway, and not many would want flashy lights or swirling images reminiscent of the swirling 60's-70's psychedelic age to back them up.
